There are many benefits to control the emotions but the importance of controlling the emotion is developing relation with others and yourself. Do you remember the type of emotion we have learned? List down them in space given below: -

Example: -

When Swami Vivekananda was small he used to get angry very soon. His mother poured water on his head and muttered Lord’s Shiva name to make him calm. And he got control on his emotion. If such a big man can control his emotion why can’t we?List down some of the situation in which you faced any type of emotion and have controlled it.

One day we will get rid of the negative emotion.
One of the simplest way is Meditation.

Controlling the emotions is really good but hiding your emotions is not good. You should express your feelings, share your opinions/ emotions to anyone with whom you are comfortable. You should not keep them in your heart or in your self. It may lead to depression and depression can lead a person to a danger zone if mental imbalance. Our brain cells are not reproduced. So, You have to preserve them by taking care of your emotions.
