Food consumed in its natural form is considered natural. Vegetables, fruits, leaves, nuts and grains, dairy products, roots etc are natural food.

When natural foods are cooked they undergo transformation. But when they are refrigerated, pickled, fried and preserved with chemicals they contain artificial properties, which are often delicious and tasty but very unhealthy. Chemically treated food items, over heated milk and milk products and over cooked vegetables lose much of their value. Cooking destroys most of the vitamins and enzymes.

When food is boiled, steamed or baked, it undergoes mild cooking, thereby preventing total loss of essential nutrients. Cooking for longer time and in lot of water reduces the nutrients. Fermented foods like idli, dhokla, are good to be consumed by kids as it contains less oil and also retains most of nutrients.

Adding baking powder in cooking to make the food soft in texture should be avoided as it is not advisable to use any chemical in kid’s diet.


Relaxation :- It means whatever you like to do, do that to relax your body.There are different ways to relax:

  • Dancing
  • Listening to Music
  • Reading
  • Painting
  • Drinking your favorite drink.
  • Do the exercise like shavasan, meditation.
  • Massage your eyes.
  • Talk to the person whom you like.
  • Walk in open air, barefooted in the lawn or on the beach.
  • For instant relaxation, close the eyes.


We should develop any of these habits whenever we are tired to relax the body.

Here are some of the tips for your eyes:

It is very important and the delicate sense organ of our body. This part is so important that the god has given us the cover to protect it We should take care of this organ.

  • Reading books from very near.

  • Wash the eyes with cold water.
  • Do exercise of your eyes.
  • Oil your hair properly.
  • Take nutrition food. Not to get angry on any thing. When you are unable to see the things far away and have a headache, consult the doctor. The followings are the things needed for the eyes: Vitamin A: - red, orange and yellow colour fruits and vegetables are richest source of Vitamin A. Vitamin B: It is very important for the eyesight. We get Vitamin B from
  • Carrot, cabbage, apple, grapes, banana, orange, sweet lime.
  • Yellow fruits, and vegetables.
  • Egg, meat, milk, curd, Soya bean.
  • Green vegetables like peas, bitter guord, and radish.
  • Vitamin C rich foods such as citrus fruit is also very necessary for good eyesight.
  • Following are very important for the good eyesight.
  • Protect the eyes from the dust. Not to get in contact with the person suffering form Conjunctivitis. Not to use the handkerchief or the towel of the person suffering from Conjunctivitis.
