Chela:

Yes, you taught me something new.

Didi:

Do you know why I kept the Deepak game?

Chela:

Yes, it must be, just for fun.

Didi:

Yes, of course for fun and for lighting our heart and home.

Chela:

What do you mean?

Didi:

I mean Deepak removes the darkness from our heart and home.

Chela:

Wow! It’s really nice to know all this.

Didi:

Not only this but whenever we Indians start any good work we light deepak with the wish that our work is
completed easily and successfully.

Chela:

OH! Really? I didn’t know this.

Didi:

The next game will be the support game.

Chela:

What type of game is this? I haven’t heard of this. Will you please explain me in detail?

Didi:

Yes, I will. In this game we will make a pair of two and will tie a big thread in the leg of the two. Thread will
be tied in the opposite legs of both the partners.

Chela:

What? They will fall down.

Didi:

This is what I want to say. If they will support each other they will win the game.

Chela:

Please explain me in detail. I haven’t understood.

Didi:

Hey! Chatur. This game is to teach them, that if we support each other then we can achieve success and
win every game of the life. This is what our Indian culture teaches us.

Chela:

Nice game.

Didi:

Ok, when we have completed with this game we will play a Bindiya game.

Chela:

Bindiya game?

Didi:

yes.

Chela:

What do you mean the man too will have to put bindies on their head?

Didi:

Yes.

Chela:

What do you mean?

Didi:

Yes, they will.

Chela:

But how?

Didi:

his is a game. What we will do is give every person a pack of a bindiya. And they will have to stick it on their
face in one minute. The one with more bindies on their face will win the game.

Chela:

But didi. Why this game?

Didi:

In our Indian culture the women put bindies on their head. We Indians are identified with this bindi. We
Indians wherever we go put bindi on the forehead and are identified as Indians.

Chela:

Really?

Didi:

Yes, Dear.

Chela:

WOW! A small bindi has so much of feeling attached with it.

Didi:

Ok! The next game will be the Chotti game.

Chela:

Chotti game? What type of game is it?

Didi:

It’s really nice to play and we all will be having lots of fun playing the game

Chela:

But how?

Didi:

We will give all of them the packet of a rubber band. And all of them have to make chotti on their head with
it.

Chela:

But how will the boys make chotti on their head?

Didi:

They will be able to make better chotti on their head as they have small hair and can try to win the game.

Chela:

I know you may have an explanation why you have chosen this game?

Didi:

Yes, in our culture the women make chotti of their hair as they get comfort. Indian woman is a statute of
hard work. So they make chotti so that the hair does not come in between.

Chela:

What? Is it so?

Didi:

Yes.

Chela:

Ok! I got the idea about it. Now I’ll go and prepare for the party.
Continued in next Thursday session. game.
